My So Called Scarf
That’s the name of the pattern. Really. It’s from Sheep in the City. I took about a dozen pictures standing by the window in my study on my day off, using flash suppression, hoping to show the colors in this beautiful yarn. I think the picture turned out pretty well.
The scarf is about 60 inches long (including the fringe) and about 4 1/2 inches wide. I could have made it a tad longer, but I was worried about running out of yarn and wanted to have plenty left over for the fringe. 1
* * * * *- Yes, I know I’ve mentioned the fringe twice now and don’t have a picture of it. Patience, grasshopper. [↩]

Very Nice! The picture does do the colors justice. Good job on the scarf and the picture. Now I can’t wait to see the finished sweater - just in time for July!

Wonderful color! And it looks so soft and cozy!
I could really use that down here, after all… it’s winter in Australia and tonight was cooooollld!
I want to learn to knit someday. (I started a couple of years ago, but it’s fallen by the wayside for now.) The main reason is so that I can knit cozy scarves!
My mother only made one very long soft wool scarf in her youth, but my siblings and I still argue over who gets to use it!
