Yes, they did indeed fit. Being the neurotic person I am, I made her try them on right away. Whew!

They were a big hit. There were good tears and genuine hugs. She is definitely among the Knit Worthy.

Because the husband does politics professionally, I had to go to a Tea Party. The one thing that pissed me off most was a confrontation between protesters of the event and Tea Party member, the latter of which accused them of being “haters of America.” No, I’m sorry, but they love America too, or they would not be here trying to exercise their freedom of speech.

The thing that bothers me most about many Tea Party members (and I see too many of them currently as the husband is now Into Politics professionally) is how many of them object to paying for schools, and yet they’re so badly educated, it only confirms the need to invest further into education for all. An educated democracy always functions better than an uneducated one.
